Miranda the Moon
A winter-white rock,
scarred and pocked
with deep grooves,
like a knife moved
and chopped and diced
her surface, spliced
when a comet crashed
left her surface bashed.
Gravity held her together.
Uranus, her protector
planet keeps her in orbit.
scarred and pocked
with deep grooves,
like a knife moved
and chopped and diced
her surface, spliced
when a comet crashed
left her surface bashed.
Gravity held her together.
Uranus, her protector
planet keeps her in orbit.
