Look What I've Found

Look what I’ve found
Inside this apple core.
Little dark, shiny seeds,
Two or three, or more.
I’ll plant them in the garden
In amongst the weeds.
I’ll water them and care for them,
I love my little seeds.

Tiny shoots will start to grow
And sprout fresh green leaves.
Taller, stronger, reaching up
Until they’re sturdy trees.
Rosy red apples,
To pick on Autumn days.
Sweet and crisp and juicy,
Ripened by sun’s rays.

Look what I’ve found
Inside this apple core.
Little dark, shiny seeds,
Miracles for sure!
