Last Night
Open up the curtains
the street is shining bright
shimmering with whispers –
the snow elves came last night!
Wrap up warm in woollies
pull your hat on tight
let's step into the magic
the snow elves came last night!
The trees are iced like cupcakes
in every shade of white
stick out your tongue and taste a flake
the snow elves came last night!
Scoop it up and mould it
let's have a snowball fight
duck and dive and dodge it
the snow elves came last night!
Make a footprint in the snow
a step of pure delight
a smile as big as Christmas, 'cos
the snow elves came last night!
the street is shining bright
shimmering with whispers –
the snow elves came last night!
Wrap up warm in woollies
pull your hat on tight
let's step into the magic
the snow elves came last night!
The trees are iced like cupcakes
in every shade of white
stick out your tongue and taste a flake
the snow elves came last night!
Scoop it up and mould it
let's have a snowball fight
duck and dive and dodge it
the snow elves came last night!
Make a footprint in the snow
a step of pure delight
a smile as big as Christmas, 'cos
the snow elves came last night!
