Jack Frost
lay down his cloak
with cold hard hands.
Stilling the air
and freezing the land.
Icing the branches
that hang by the lake.
Frosting the hedgerows,
the berries, like cake.
Stilling the trees
and the fallen leaves.
Hanging up icicles
under the eaves.
with cold hard hands.
Stilling the air
and freezing the land.
Icing the branches
that hang by the lake.
Frosting the hedgerows,
the berries, like cake.
Stilling the trees
and the fallen leaves.
Hanging up icicles
under the eaves.
