The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Instrument Selection Day

Ari chose accordion.
Baxter boldly picked bassoon.
Clarinet was the choice for Chloe,
and drums made Dylan swoon.
Flute was favored by Farrah.
Gabe greeted a guitar with smiles.
Hannah happily took the harp,
and the mandolin went to Miles.
Patrick picked piano.
Suki selected sitar.
Tess tried out the tuba.
For Uma the ukulele was star.
Last on the list was Xavier.
The decision was all his own,
but not one person was surprised
when he chose the xylophone!
