Insect Picnic Tango
(Insect communique: Humans are gone. Now’s our chance!)
Ants gulp watermelon wedges
Fruit flies attack skewered mango
Caterpillars crash and circle on dropped cucumber slices
Mosquitoes mark minced meats
Bees buzz banana rice pudding drippings
Grasshoppers gobble green Greek salads
Butterflies behold from branches bearing flowers
Rain pours - A FLOOD!
Ants promenade on watermelon rinds
Fruit flies needle on kebab stick kayaks
Caterpillars tap on cucumber rounds
Bees pivot on banana boats to safety
Grasshoppers leg wrap on leaf boats
Butterflies caress forehead to forehead overhead in a sweetheart embrace.
Ants gulp watermelon wedges
Fruit flies attack skewered mango
Caterpillars crash and circle on dropped cucumber slices
Mosquitoes mark minced meats
Bees buzz banana rice pudding drippings
Grasshoppers gobble green Greek salads
Butterflies behold from branches bearing flowers
Rain pours - A FLOOD!
Ants promenade on watermelon rinds
Fruit flies needle on kebab stick kayaks
Caterpillars tap on cucumber rounds
Bees pivot on banana boats to safety
Grasshoppers leg wrap on leaf boats
Butterflies caress forehead to forehead overhead in a sweetheart embrace.
