Information for Artists!
New DB AnthologyHello Balloonists!
Jonathan here!
A great big THANK YOU to the artists and illustrators who have very kindly offered to help with our next anthology. Here at the DB we are massively grateful for their kindness in supporting the publication, the profits from which are going to be donated to JUVENILE ARTHRITIS RESEARCH.
When our artists send their illustrations, we’d like the pictures to be in png format (Portable Network Graphics), and at least 1000 pixels wide/long.
As far as deadlines go, we’re hoping to publish later in the year, so anytime in June/July would be lovely but if this isn’t possible, we’ll cope with whatever and whenever you send us your work (thank you!).
We’ve already had our first picture: a beautiful collage from Rachel Burrows to accompany her excellent poem Orcadia.
Chasing Clouds … Brilliant Adventures in a Poetry Balloon
the next big project at the Dirigible Balloon is going to be called …
Sky Surfing … Excellent Adventures in a Poetry Balloon
What do you think?
Will it do?

We have also (at long last) decided on a name (or at least a working title) for our anthology. So as the first anthology was called
Chasing Clouds … Brilliant Adventures in a Poetry Balloon
the next big project at the Dirigible Balloon is going to be called …
Sky Surfing … Excellent Adventures in a Poetry Balloon
