The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

In my Garden

In my garden
I come to know
The early sun
Its orange glow,
I step barefoot
On morning dew
Wet green grass
Achoo! Achoo!

Climbing clouds
Winter white
Look silky smooth
In morning light,
The tiny birds
Rest on twigs
Travelling south
Zig Zag Zig!

Flower boxes
Hanging on
A yellow rose
Petals gone,
Rain falls
Soft drops
Dripity drip
Splish! Splosh!

Cold clear
Starry nights
A crescent shape
Lights! Delights!
Man in the Moon
What do you see?
So far away
Can you see me?
