If Space
If Space is ever expanding
where is it expanding to?
Isn’t that also some kind of space,
an alternative point of view?
How can something be growing forever
when I know there is always an end,
an edge, a wall, an envelope
a finale just round the bend.
I guess I’m the one who has limits,
who can’t see the endless terrain,
all the planets, the moons, suns and comets -
looks like I need a much bigger brain
where is it expanding to?
Isn’t that also some kind of space,
an alternative point of view?
How can something be growing forever
when I know there is always an end,
an edge, a wall, an envelope
a finale just round the bend.
I guess I’m the one who has limits,
who can’t see the endless terrain,
all the planets, the moons, suns and comets -
looks like I need a much bigger brain
