If Clouds Could Sing
I see a fluffy unicorn
walking through the sky.
I notice it above my head,
moving slowly by.
I see a flying pirate ship
drifting through the air,
a quiet crowd of sleepy pirates
swaying here and there.
I see a giant elephant,
larger than a plane.
Then, as I look again, I see
an old man with a cane.
I’ve seen so many things today
just looking up above
not only clouds across the sky,
but shapes I really love.
A line of lazy camels passes,
one by one they go.
Just for a moment they are here,
then gone before I know.
I pointed up into the sky
and watched the clouds drift by.
If clouds can sing without a sound,
then maybe so can I.
walking through the sky.
I notice it above my head,
moving slowly by.
I see a flying pirate ship
drifting through the air,
a quiet crowd of sleepy pirates
swaying here and there.
I see a giant elephant,
larger than a plane.
Then, as I look again, I see
an old man with a cane.
I’ve seen so many things today
just looking up above
not only clouds across the sky,
but shapes I really love.
A line of lazy camels passes,
one by one they go.
Just for a moment they are here,
then gone before I know.
I pointed up into the sky
and watched the clouds drift by.
If clouds can sing without a sound,
then maybe so can I.
