I Want a Baby Elephant for Christmas
I want a baby elephant for Christmas.
Only a baby elephant will do.
I don’t want a bike, skateboard or baseball glove,
I want a baby elephant to play with, hug, and love.
I want a baby elephant for Christmas.
Only a baby elephant will do.
No cat, no dog, no ant-farm filled with ants.
I only like those baby elephants.
I want a baby elephant for Christmas.
Another single thing will never do.
No roller skates, no boots or under-pants,
I only like those baby elephants.
I got a baby elephant for Christmas,
Though not a real elephant, of course.
So I will wait till next year …
And ask Santa for a horse!
