I Miss My Big Sister

I miss my big sister now that she’s full grown
and busy with homework, her friends and her phone.
I miss making tents with the blankets and pegs,
and racing those bugs with the crooked back legs.
I miss our sleepovers and practical jokes,
and practising shows to perform to our folks.
It’s sad that big sisters get too big to play,
I guess there’s no time since they sleep half the day!
