Hungry Cats
Meowing, clawing, marking, blinking,
Has got me seriously thinking.
That cats let you know just how they feel.
Especially when they want a meal.
Staring, pacing, demanding, whining,
the cat is happiest when dining.
On wet food, dry treats, or tuna fish,
or tasty tidbits tossed in their dish.
I never know my cat’s next mood.
Will it lick my face, or just want food?
Has got me seriously thinking.
That cats let you know just how they feel.
Especially when they want a meal.
Staring, pacing, demanding, whining,
the cat is happiest when dining.
On wet food, dry treats, or tuna fish,
or tasty tidbits tossed in their dish.
I never know my cat’s next mood.
Will it lick my face, or just want food?
