The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Gustav Klunk

I'm Gustav Klunk; A great big hunk!
Made out of other people's junk.
My horns are rusty handlebars.
My eyes; headlights from scrap yard cars.
I have a shiny tin can tail
and teeth made out of screws and nails.
With dustbin-lid wings I can glide
as my broken clock heart ticks inside.
