The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Graviticity

Listen to the poem ...
The compelling force of gravity
is a mutual attractability
between all matter cosmologically
across the universe in perpetuity.

Its planetary glue-ability
keeps earth in solar orbitility.
It kicks spacecraft with velocity.
It has space-time warpability.

Taken to its far extremities
in black holes of lethal densities,
it traps light from viewability
in crushing singularities.

It gained widespread notoriety
for fruitful serendipity
by dropping apples unexpectedly
in Newton’s close proximity.

So let’s shout out to gravity.
Without its stickabilty
we’d be spinning centrifugally
into space’s vacuuminity.
