Grandma’s Sandwiches

First, she made a banana sandwich,
a grape, cheese and a ham sandwich.
But she didn’t stop.

A marmite, orange and a strawberry sandwich,
an ice cream, jam and a bacon sandwich.
But she didn’t stop.

An onion, crow and a cauliflower sandwich,
a pizza, honey and a toothpaste sandwich.
My plate’s getting full Grandma!

A boot, wet grass and a ketchup sandwich,
a slug, umbrella and a bubble gum sandwich.
But that didn’t stop her.

A cinnamon, crab and a spider sandwich,
a sherbet, kite and a piranha sandwich.
But she still couldn’t stop.

Tropical ants, soapy sponge, frozen snails,
blueberry snot, crispy worms, minty sock,
chocolate flies, apple mice and a spicy scorpion sandwich.

I had to scream: ‘Stop Grandma! I need a drink!’
