Floating City
This society dreams as it floats.
There are smart, vertical cities in the sky.
We cherish goals. and we treasure life.
It’s much less noisy and confusing than in the past.
Silent, sleek electric trains have replaced all the smoky, gas guzzling cars.
Each home is surrounded by fresh minty green.
And each of us breathes air that is light and clean.
Words are calm and kind, and we mostly get along.
We are purposeful, responsible, and our health is universally cared for, and strong.
The towns floating upwards in the cerulean sky-
Are aspirational, as they paint dreamy zesty lines on our untroubled skyline.
We all have mineral infused water on tap, excellent nutrition and access to good schools,
Conflicts are unheard of, instead we are all equal.
Our days are pollution free and light.
Our nights peaceful and quiet,
And as we doze off to sleep,
We gaze out of our windows, at our floating city!
With minds that are balanced, hopeful and altruistic.
