Flip Flops
Foam flaps
sidewalk cracks
Stop pool side
towels hide
Quick stuff stash
then ka-splash!
Board hip hop
Belly flop!
Thunder boom!
No more room
Wind howls
Wet towels
Snacks and shade
Wish we’d stayed
Sad hiccups
Shoe mix up
Toes wiggle
Friends giggle
Neon hues
tell who’s whose
sidewalk cracks

Board hip hop
Belly flop!
Thunder boom!
No more room
Wind howls
Wet towels
Snacks and shade
Wish we’d stayed

Friends giggle
