Flight of Fancy
I want to catch a special flight
One that takes a whole dark night.
A starry journey, by the silvery moon
from the safety of my cosy room.
A flight that could take me anywhere -
Where I go? – I do not care!
It’s a flight of fancy and imagination
fuelled by dreams of the destination.
A trip to ‘Where-I-want-to-go’
a special place, only I can know -
somewhere I’ll meet all my friends
and our adventures never end.
