Etiquette For Toddlers

Spitting isn’t proper,
Mom says it’s downright rude
Even if the taste is weird
I mustn’t sputter food.
Dad says I should try new flavors
(just one tiny bit).
It’s only when I brush my teeth
I finally get to spit!
