Dream
I dreamed I was the moon last night,
the strangest dream I’ve had,
my dream was silver-magical
and not a little mad!
I spread my beams on sky and sea,
I poured myself on land,
touched every tree with filigree,
kissed every grain of sand
But you won’t see my handiwork;
I did it in the night
and all my magic vanished
with the coming of the light.
the strangest dream I’ve had,
my dream was silver-magical
and not a little mad!
I spread my beams on sky and sea,
I poured myself on land,
touched every tree with filigree,
kissed every grain of sand
But you won’t see my handiwork;
I did it in the night
and all my magic vanished
with the coming of the light.
