Don’t Trust The Gardener!

I’ve washed my foot
and polished my shell,
freshened my slime,
- I’m sliding well!

I’ve brushed my teeth,
it took forever -
14000
is some endeavour!

I’m ready now,
my feelers set,
the moon is bright,
the grass is wet.

My friends have gone
I see their trails…
To The Veg Patch!
Party Snails!

There’s lettuce sticks,
and fresh pea shoots,
carrot cake
and cabbage roots.

Beetroot bites,
strawberry tips,
broadbean fluff
and raspberry pips.

The slugs arrive
and join the fun -
so much food
for everyone!

And one last treat,
a sip of beer -
how kind of him
to leave it here!
