Don’t Call Me Diva

Don't call me missy, don’t call me mild,
I'm daring and brave, I was born to be WILD.

If you call me diva, I’ll kick up a stink,
Why shouldn’t the world get to know what I think?

And I’m not a wallflower, standing aside,
I’ll march at the front, beaming with pride.

If something needs sorting, watch me cause a scene,
But don't you go calling me drama queen.

Nor am I a princess, I’m more of a grafter,
Writing my own happily ever after.

And don’t call me damsel, I'm not in distress,
Why you should think so is anyone's guess.

I do not simper and I’m not one to pout,
I’d rather be sorting the baddie guys out.

I can fly high, but I am not flighty,
I’ll rescue the world in my polka dot nighty.

Say I’m a cutie and you won’t sound smart
Cos my brainpower level is right off the chart.

A word for my brilliance? There are lots you could use,
But there’s a perfect one I'd love you to choose.

It’s easy to say, why not give it a whirl?
Take a deep breath and call me a…

GIRL!
