Dogfish Blues
Gonna catch me a dogfish
Gonna put it in a collar
Gonna take it to a dog show
Gonna make me a dollar.
Gonna catch me a seahorse
Gonna buy me a saddle
Gonna ride along the sea shore
Gonna do the doggie paddle.
Gonna catch me a catfish
Gonna rub its little head
It’s gonna catch a lotta mousefish
Til all the mousefish are dead.
Gonna catch me a waterbabe
Gonna put it in a pram
Gonna call it Little Sister
Gonna feed it eggs and ham.
Gonna catch me a starfish
Gonna hang it in the skies
Gonna sing Twinkle Twinkle
Til I see the sun rise.
Gonna put it in a collar
Gonna take it to a dog show
Gonna make me a dollar.
Gonna catch me a seahorse
Gonna buy me a saddle
Gonna ride along the sea shore
Gonna do the doggie paddle.
Gonna catch me a catfish
Gonna rub its little head
It’s gonna catch a lotta mousefish
Til all the mousefish are dead.
Gonna catch me a waterbabe
Gonna put it in a pram
Gonna call it Little Sister
Gonna feed it eggs and ham.
Gonna catch me a starfish
Gonna hang it in the skies
Gonna sing Twinkle Twinkle
Til I see the sun rise.
