The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Directions through a Fairytale

Up the beanstalk.
Over the rainbow.
Down the rabbit-hole.
Through the woods.
Across the bridge.
Beware of the angry troll.
Climb Rapunzel’s tower.
Search Aladdin’s cave.
Throw a coin in the wishing well.
Slide down the chimney
and into the wardrobe.
All before the midnight bell.
