Dimension Of Lost Socks

Monstrous dryers
Eating cotton
Socks that slip away
With every spin
Behind old closets
And in the garden
Purple fuzzy socks
Blue ones with holes,
and red woollen stripes,
Vanish one by one,
Into a magical space
Where many lost
Socks have gone before
Some return, others don’t,
But they do float,
Across shining stars
Around the blue heart
Of the universe.
