Competition
Know what I heard?
I heard a bird!
She sat down on the apple tree
And then she sort of looked at me.
“Hi, Bird!” I said.
She turned her head
And started in to sing.
She sang and sang like anything!
So, then I started singing too.
But when she heard it, away she flew.
(I guess it must have upset her
To find out that I sing so much better.)
