Shirley is from Indiana and taught for forty-two years. Teaching was her passion. After retirement, writing has become Shirley's newest passion. Looking for places to submit poetry is new, exciting and the inspiration for her adventures. Her poems are written in homage to her late husband who encouraged Shirley to write.
