City Cycling

Rolled up yoga mats
Hot pizza, poorly cats
Weekend shop, library books
School bags, crochet hooks
Indian take-out, day-old chicks
Coffee to go, hurling sticks
Toolboxes, picnic lunches
Newspapers, flower bunches
Laptop bags, dancing shoes
Gym kit, snooker cues
Dry cleaning, fishing rod
Teddy bears, camera tripod.
Brimming baskets filled with goods
Travel round our neighbourhoods
Bulging bags cross streets suburban
Pedal power reducing carbon
Pack your panniers as you like
And cross the city on your bike!
