Catch a Snowflake Falling
Catch a snowflake falling.
Tiny fleck of white.
First flake of the winter,
Drifting through the night.
Stretch your arm out gently.
Wait for it to land.
Perfect, starry crystal,
Catch it on your hand.
Tilt your head. Look upwards.
Peer into the sky.
Snowflakes falling faster,
Soundless, swirling by.
Mesmerising flurries,
Sweeping through the town,
Blanketing the garden
In a snow-white fleecy gown.
Tiny fleck of white.
First flake of the winter,
Drifting through the night.
Stretch your arm out gently.
Wait for it to land.
Perfect, starry crystal,
Catch it on your hand.
Tilt your head. Look upwards.
Peer into the sky.
Snowflakes falling faster,
Soundless, swirling by.
Mesmerising flurries,
Sweeping through the town,
Blanketing the garden
In a snow-white fleecy gown.
