“Can you be quiet for just five minutes?”
said Mummy.

“No problem,” I said,
“Of course I can be quiet.
I’m an expert at being quiet.
I’m so expert at being quiet you’ll probably forget I’m here.”

“Did you say five minutes?
Hmm, that’s a long time...
I could say a lot of interesting things
in FIVE. WHOLE. MINUTES.
But it’s ok.
I’ll be quiet.
No problem at all”

“You know, I’m so good at being quiet
the King himself could invite me round
and I’d not say a single word.”

“How much longer?
4 minutes?
Are you sure?
Has your watch stopped?
“Do you want me to fix it?
I’m sure I’ll be very good at fixing watches.”

No? Ok.
I’m too busy being quiet anyway.”

“Hmm....
I know I’m brilliant at being quiet.
But it is actually quite boring.”
