Can I Have a Dog?
No.
They track in dirt. They whine. They beg
They chew the coffee table’s leg
They dig. They bark. They pee. They poop
And I’m the one who’ll have to scoop
They bring in fleas. They smell. They shed
Why not get a fish instead?
-sigh-
I guess you’re right in what you’ve said
(but please don’t look beneath my bed)
They track in dirt. They whine. They beg
They chew the coffee table’s leg
They dig. They bark. They pee. They poop
And I’m the one who’ll have to scoop
They bring in fleas. They smell. They shed
Why not get a fish instead?
-sigh-
I guess you’re right in what you’ve said
(but please don’t look beneath my bed)
