Building my Dreams
In my dreams I can build a castle,
In my dreams I can make a storm,
In my dreams I can hide in burrows,
soft and snug and safe and warm.
In my dreams I can climb a mountain,
In my dreams I can cross the sea,
In my dreams I can grow a rainbow
in new colors just for me.
In my dreams I can fight a dragon,
In my dreams I can sail a cloud,
In my dreams I can eat more ice-cream
than I’ve ever been allowed.
In my dreams I can be a hero,
In my dreams I can save the day,
In my dreams I can choose what happens -
I build dreams in my own way.
