Bringing back the beach
Sandy sunshine, sandy shade,
Sandy bucket, sandy spade.
Sandy shells and sandy caves,
Sandy rock pools, sandy waves.
Sandy swimsuit, sandy chair,
Sandy sandwich, sandy hair.
Sandy feet and sandy toes,
Sandy bottom, sandy nose.
Sandy fingers, sandy lips,
Sandy ice cream, sandy chips.
Sandy boot and sandy drive,
Sandy car when we arrive.
Sandy sandals up the path...
Sandy, sandy, SANDY bath!

Sarah is originally from Wales, now living in Hertfordshire. She prefers to write poetry for children, though thinks that the best poems can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
