The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Beware of the Bear!

Listen to Jacqueline ...
Oh no, Baby Bear, your breakfast’s all gone,
and look at our chairs, that someone's sat on!
I just can't believe it, they’ve BROKEN your chair.
It even appears that they’ve gone up our stairs
and there they are now, still asleep on your bed!
How rude and how dare she! I’ll BITE off her head.

The moral of this story: beware of the bear
and never, no NEVER, go into their lair.
