Bedtime Munchies
Listen to Helen read her poem ...
I am hungry
oh! so hungry
all I need is jam and bread
plus perhaps
a little slice
of chocolate cake would be so nice!
Or (I don't want to be fussy ...)
can I have some fruit instead?
Apples, pears,
a small satsuma,
I still have a little room ...
a smidgeon more?
a teensy snack?
I promise that I won't come back?
