Bathtub Fun

There’s a monkey in my bathtub
With a crew of friendly frogs
Slipping in and out of bubbles
Near a school of polliwogs.

They’re singing silly ditties
To a jaunty pirate tune,
While tugboats tumble into waves
Then splash up on a dune.

There’s a monkey with a moustache
Plus a sudsy soap goatee.
My eyes catch a reflection—
Oh look! That monkey’s…
Me!
