Bat
Black velvet wings
folded tight,
hanging from tiny feet.
Safely hidden
in rafters, caves,
and hollow trees.
Silently rocking,
gently swaying,
dreaming the day away.
Upside-down
silent
sleeping bat.
folded tight,
hanging from tiny feet.
Safely hidden
in rafters, caves,
and hollow trees.
Silently rocking,
gently swaying,
dreaming the day away.
Upside-down
silent
sleeping bat.
