Barn Owl
Stealth-owl, silent flight.
hunting in the dead of night.
Ghost-owl, flying low
up and down the hedgerow.
Screech-owl, piercing scream
wakes me from a childhood dream.
Mask-owl, white face.
Fine feathers, full of grace.
Hunt-owl, finds a vole
wandering from its safety hole.
Swoop-owl, takes its prey,
swallow’s whole and flies away.
hunting in the dead of night.
Ghost-owl, flying low
up and down the hedgerow.
Screech-owl, piercing scream
wakes me from a childhood dream.
Mask-owl, white face.
Fine feathers, full of grace.
Hunt-owl, finds a vole
wandering from its safety hole.
Swoop-owl, takes its prey,
swallow’s whole and flies away.
