Backpack Blues
Wrinkled papers, wads of gum,
chewed up pencils, cookie crumb—
smelly sweatshirt, rubber band,
dirty gym shoes full of sand,
erasers, markers, paper clip—
will my backpack ever zip?
chewed up pencils, cookie crumb—
smelly sweatshirt, rubber band,
dirty gym shoes full of sand,
erasers, markers, paper clip—
will my backpack ever zip?
