Imagining the Future ...
#PoetryForChildren #DirigibleBalloon
In 2026, the Southbank Centre in London is running a poetry project celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Festival of Britain. Their main aim is to encourage creativity in schools (especially in Lambeth).

The project (Imagine the Future) is something the Dirigible Balloon would like to support through the wealth of excellent free-to-view poetry available on our website.

Our autumn submission window (open for 10 days from August 16th until August 26th) will be on the same theme of Imagine the Future. We’ll be looking for positive poetry and wonderful illustrations to inspire children in their own creative endeavours.

As usual, our call will be open to poets/artists from around the world.

Thinking caps on folks!

Cheers
