An Apology from your Mail Carrier (Based on a True Story)
I know how to handle a yip-yapping dog
or a cat springing from a tree.
I’ve seen my share of small fangs and paws
But this guy’s in a whole different league.
So forgive me today, if I seem rather lax.
It’s not like I’ve done this before.
It’s probably best I don’t even knock
when a bear’s hanging ‘round your front door!
or a cat springing from a tree.
I’ve seen my share of small fangs and paws
But this guy’s in a whole different league.
So forgive me today, if I seem rather lax.
It’s not like I’ve done this before.
It’s probably best I don’t even knock
when a bear’s hanging ‘round your front door!
