Alicia Loves Asparagus

Listen to Damian read his poem ...
Alicia loves asparagus,
yes she does, she really does.
It passes her oesophagus
and makes her little tummy buzz.

She used to hate asparagus,
but that was many years ago,
till Dr. Panasopoulos
told her it would make her grow.

And now she eats asparagus
whenever mummy cooks it up.
It’s really quite ridiculous
how much she really loves the stuff.

It’s fun to eat asparagus.
Its vitamins will make you glow.
From Ghana to Galapagos,
watch our little children grow.
