Adventures Before Bed
I wrap a towel around my legs to make a fishy fin,
and now I am a mermaid with long hair and scaly skin.
I swim into the bathroom. Splashing waves are calling me:
‘Jump in! Let’s search for treasures underneath the soapy sea’.
When Mummy pulls the plug, a giant hole begins to whirl,
I quickly grab my towel cape and take off like Supergirl!
I am flying into space, I’m catching moonbeams shining bright,
then oops, I crash into the bed. I’m me again, good night.
and now I am a mermaid with long hair and scaly skin.
