A Winter Walk
I take a walk
to see the twinkle lights
hat on my head
mittens on hands
the tip of my nose grows
cold
I like the way the lights shimmer
along rooftops
and sparkle
from porch railings
a rainbow of colors
lighting the dark
and warming my heart
on this cold winter night
to see the twinkle lights
hat on my head
mittens on hands
the tip of my nose grows
cold
I like the way the lights shimmer
along rooftops
and sparkle
from porch railings
a rainbow of colors
lighting the dark
and warming my heart
on this cold winter night
