A Winter Delight
A flaming of firelight
A sparking of logs.
A flicker of sunlight.
A silence of frogs.
A flutter of Robins.
A gusting of leaves.
A sweeping of east winds.
A chill through the trees.
A glitter of snowflakes.
A shiver of air.
A twinkle of tree lights.
Appears everywhere.
A harking of carols.
A share of mince pies.
A dashing of reindeer
Around, in the skies.
A helping of Christmas.
A hint of new year.
A peeping of snowdrops.
Spring’s nearly here!
