A Wild Walk to School
Wheeled rhinos
race past metal giraffes
with lightbulbs for heads.
Hyenas giggle while riding
on cheetahs shaped like scooters.
A hi-vis crocodile
pretends to be a lollipop man
on a tarmac river for piranha puppies
and daddygators to cross safely.
The clouds float like vultures
waiting to pounce with rain.
The sun is a hippo yawning.
race past metal giraffes
with lightbulbs for heads.
Hyenas giggle while riding
on cheetahs shaped like scooters.
A hi-vis crocodile
pretends to be a lollipop man
on a tarmac river for piranha puppies
and daddygators to cross safely.
The clouds float like vultures
waiting to pounce with rain.
The sun is a hippo yawning.
