A Well-Timed Eclipse
Sparrow cried,
“The sun’s obscured!
I've lost my sight!
My vision's blurred!
Where is the light?”
Moth bargained,
“Close your beak!
Let me go!
I will seek,
and you will know!”
Moth rejoiced,
“‘Twas just sun’s blink,
this gift of night,
so fate could think,
And I, take flight!”
“The sun’s obscured!
I've lost my sight!
My vision's blurred!
Where is the light?”
Moth bargained,
“Close your beak!
Let me go!
I will seek,
and you will know!”
Moth rejoiced,
“‘Twas just sun’s blink,
this gift of night,
so fate could think,
And I, take flight!”
