A Snail Stole My Wristwatch
A snail stole my wristwatch
To time himself, I guess
Perhaps to track his hustle
And judge his swift success
He can’t have gotten too far
Though he left without delay
The stopwatch counting seconds
Of his mollusk getaway
I think that I can track him
Without moving from my chair
For this snail thinks he’s speedy
But he’s not gone anywhere.
To time himself, I guess
Perhaps to track his hustle
And judge his swift success
He can’t have gotten too far
Though he left without delay
The stopwatch counting seconds
Of his mollusk getaway
I think that I can track him
Without moving from my chair
For this snail thinks he’s speedy
But he’s not gone anywhere.
