A Bonkers Breakfast
I like boiled eggs for breakfast,
You must know what I mean,
But the one I had today was like
No egg I’d ever seen!
It reached up to the ceiling!
It reached up to the skies!
I’d never ever seen an egg
Of such tremendous size!
It was huge! It was enormous!
It must have weighed a ton!
When mum asked me how many I would like
I told her: ‘One!’
I asked my mum to please explain
What she had bought it for,
She told me it had been on special
offer in the store!
And somehow she had got it home,
I don't know how she made it,
But I wouldn't like to meet the giant hen
That must have laid it!
You must know what I mean,
But the one I had today was like
No egg I’d ever seen!
It reached up to the ceiling!
It reached up to the skies!
I’d never ever seen an egg
Of such tremendous size!
It was huge! It was enormous!
It must have weighed a ton!
When mum asked me how many I would like
I told her: ‘One!’
I asked my mum to please explain
What she had bought it for,
She told me it had been on special
offer in the store!
And somehow she had got it home,
I don't know how she made it,
But I wouldn't like to meet the giant hen
That must have laid it!
